Netflix tweeted a new poster and teaser for Stranger Things season 2. Both show the four Hawkins boys riding headlong into danger, though in this case it’s an ominous, blood-red storm containing the demogorgon (?!), indicating that the Upside Down may be coming from all sides. The streaming service also provided a slightly new release date for the second season of their nostalgic hit, pushing the premiere date up by a few days.
Previously, Netflix had said that season 2 would be available on Halloween. Now, viewers can begin binging on Friday, October 27. Check out the complete poster below. Interestingly, it’s the same storm that made a cameo in the recent Super Bowl ad teasing season 2:

Judging from the tagline (“1984 only gets stranger”), the second season takes place a little less than a year after the events of the first. What are you hoping to see in season 2?
